Taylor's first trip to the beach, she really enjoyed it! Entertained herself playing in the sand and water, only ate a few handfuls of sand and liked to lick the salt water off her hands! We had a fun time!!

Pine Knolls Aquarium, NC
We took Taylor to the aquarium in Emerald Isle. She seemed to enjoy it...especially, the turtles, and splashing in the water where the Sting Rays were swimming! (we think she thought she was in the bath) She was pooped after the trip, and needed to "share" Mama's big smoothie.

Taylor loves Weight Watchers Giant Fudge Bars...yum!! And she & cousin Trey give Auntie Gay & Uncle Dennis a hard time at Wintergreen :) They really had a fun time, they just aren't showing it!

We have a new nephew!!
Shaun Joseph Redgate, III (Trey) arrived on Monday, June 22 (his actual due date). Brett and Shaun are doing great! After Brett was in labor all night, at 4:30am they decided to go to the hospital, and she was admitted. We arrived in Charlottesville at 9am, expecting to have a baby by 12:30pm (according to the midwife, because Brett was already at 6-7 cm when we got there!). Well, after a LONG day of hanging out in the waiting area, he decided to arrive at 11:16pm. He is beautiful and had a great mohawk. As you can see in the pictures of the fam at about 10pm, everyone was starting to get a little tired, but we were so pumped to meet our new addition to the family. Taylor was SUCH a trooper, all day long, luckily we were the only people in the waiting room, and we just took it over! We had anywhere from 5-11 people in there, throughout the day. Congratulations to the new Mom & Dad- Brett & Shaun!

Party Time!
We celebrated Taylor's birthday on Sunday afternoon with lots of family and friends. We had a great time, it was beautiful (HOT!), we cooked out and had yummy strawberry cake...thank you Bella!
Taylor Turns 1!
I can't believe it...but Taylor turned 1 on the 9th! After her spaghetti dinner, she had her very own cake (with 50% less sugar icing...big mistake, it was like glue!), and then a little icecream cone. Well, she must have partied a little too hard, because we topped the night off by throwing it all up in her crib!! Yuck!
We're Back!!!
Okay, so after a 6 months hiatus I am back. I am REALLY going to try to update Taylor's blog weekly. Since she is ONE now, and changing so fast, I have posted some of my favorite pictures from the past 6 months! Thank you all for being patient...especially Laura :) You are my "blog" motivation!

Taylor is not a fan of her hat, she doesn't like to have it on her head, but she is keeping it one for a quick pose. I love it!!
Christmas at Wintergreen!
This Christmas we spent a relaxing week at the Wintergreen house. It was great, we had a house full of friends and family, and lots of food!
